Lovely piece! I constantly feel this desire to be everything. Though I like to think this desire to be everything comes from a desire not to do everything, but to be someone's everything (That is, to be Christ's). And further, this desire, which I feel to own and experience everything, is just to have Christ always with me. The endless search (which can only end with God) is to consume and to be consumed.
i agree with the last bit, not so much with being someone’s everything, mostly because i have not sensed this desire in myself for a long time now, so it is hard to relate.
but i think this is exactly what sainthood and theosis mean. deification through being so tightly connected to God that nothing can separate you two. and this is where the true journey begins. to be everything is to be mini-Christ, to be mini-Christ is to always, always have actual Christ within you and to be within Him. that is what i think 🤔
